Between two sizes? For bulky, light waste like furniture and boxes, the bigger bin is usually the safer choice. For heavy waste like soil, bricks or concrete, call us first: heavy loads reach the weight limit before the bin is full.

Sheet / Notes

Skip bin size questions

Note 01

Which skip bins have walk-in doors?

Every bin from 3m³ to 10m³ has a walk-in door, so you can wheel a barrow straight in. The 2m³ mini skip is loaded over the side.

Note 02

What size skip bin do I need?

As a guide: 2m³ for a small garden tidy or single room, 3m³ for a garage or shed clear-out, 4m³ for a bathroom renovation, 6m³ for a 2 to 3 bedroom house clean-out, 8m³ for a full house clean-out or kitchen renovation, and 10m³ for large renovations and building sites. For soil, bricks or concrete, call us to confirm. Or try the size matcher.

Note 03

What's the difference between a 6m³ and an 8m³ skip bin?

They take up the same space on your driveway: both are 3.3 m long and 1.5 m wide. The 8m³ is taller (1.8 m instead of 1.5 m), so it holds about 33 wheelie bins instead of about 25. Choose the 8m³ for bulky, light loads like a full house clean-out or kitchen renovation. For heavy waste like soil, bricks or concrete, call us first.
