Both are 1.5 metres wide. The difference is length, height, and how you load them.
2m³Mini
Our smallest bin, for the smallest spaces.
No door. Waist-high sides make it easy to drop in bags, boxes and offcuts.
3m³Step up
A little longer, with a door.
Wheel or carry bulky items straight in instead of lifting them over the side.
Lengths on the same tape
Grab a tape. Measure the narrowest point of the space, such as gate posts or the gap beside the car, then how much length you can give up. Enter both and see each bin on your driveway.
A mini skip suits a job you can point at: one room, one space, one weekend. If the clean-up keeps growing, step up a size.
Old shelving, boxes, broken chairs and bagged rubbish. Take the 3m³ if there's bulky furniture to walk in.
Prunings, a hedge trim and pulled-out plants. All green waste? See green waste skip bins.
Vanity, cabinets and fittings. The door makes carrying things in easier. Lots of tiles or rubble? That's heavy waste, so call first.
Not sure what's allowed? Check what can go in a skip bin before you load.
The minis are the first two steps. Every size above them is the same 1.5 m wide.
Soil, bricks, concrete and tiles are dense and fill a bin fast. Call 0411 131 044 before you book and we'll help you pick the right bin.
Clearing several rooms or a full renovation? A 4m³ or bigger does it in one go. Compare them on skip bin sizes.
Describe the job in a sentence when you call, and we'll suggest the bin.
Our smallest skip bin: the 2m³, which is 1.8 m long, 1.5 m wide and 0.9 m high and holds about 8 wheelie bins. It's loaded over the side and has no door. If you need a bit more room, the 3m³ is the step up.
If the space is at least 1.5 m wide and 1.8 m long, the 2m³ footprint fits. The 3m³ needs 2.4 m of length. Measure at the narrowest point, try the fit check, and tell us about gates, carports or overhead wires when you book.
About 8 wheelie bins' worth in the 2m³ mini skip and about 12 in the 3m³. That suits a contained job, like a single room or a garage clear-out.
For a light strip-out of a vanity, cabinets and fittings, the 3m³ usually suits, and its walk-in door makes carrying things in easier. If you're removing lots of tiles, rubble or a concrete floor, that's heavy waste, so call us on 0411 131 044 first and we'll help you pick the right bin.
Tell us the job and how long you need the bin. You'll get one full price upfront, with no hidden fees. Finish early? Ask for early collection.
