About Bloom Skip Bins
Skip bin hire from Truganina, built for Melbourne's west and north.
Bloom Skip Bins is a Melbourne skip bin hire company, set up in 2025 with a depot on Greigs Road, Truganina. We deliver skip bins from the 2m³ mini skip to the 10m³ across Melbourne's west and north. One full price upfront, the council permit sorted for you, and the bin collected when you're done.
01 — The story
A new depot, a growing corridor, a few simple rules.
Bloom is young, and we like it that way. Here's where we started, how we work and where we're heading.
I
The start
A depot in Truganina, right where the bins are needed.
Bloom Skip Bins started in 2025 with a depot at 121 Greigs Road, Truganina. Truganina sits in the middle of one of Melbourne's fastest-growing areas, where new estates go up, families move in, garages fill and renovations begin.
Starting here put Melbourne's west on our doorstep. Tarneit and Derrimut are next door, and Werribee, Melton, Footscray, Sunshine and Craigieburn are all on our regular runs.
The idea was simple: be the skip bin company we'd want to book ourselves.
II
The rules
Six sizes, one price, no runaround.
From day one we kept the offer simple. Six bin sizes, from the 2m³ mini skip for a single room to the 10m³ for building sites. Every bin from 3m³ up has a walk-in door, so you can wheel a barrow straight in.
Every quote is one full price upfront, covering delivery, pickup and disposal. If the bin has to sit on the nature strip or road, we arrange the council permit ourselves, because we're accredited with every council in our service area. Mattresses go in at no extra charge.
Not sure which size? Tell us the job and we'll match the bin, or compare them all on skip bin sizes.
III
Today
34 suburbs, from Werribee to Craigieburn.
Today Bloom delivers skip bins to 34 suburbs across Melbourne's west and north, from Werribee and Melton out west to Craigieburn, Coburg and Reservoir up north. Find yours on our service areas page.
Alongside household skip bin hire, we supply construction skip bins for builders, commercial skip bins for businesses and green waste skip bins for garden clean-ups.
We're still growing: Bundoora, Whittlesea and Wallan are next. The rules haven't changed: one price upfront, permits sorted, and every load taken to licensed recycling and disposal facilities.
02 — How we work
Six things you can count on.
The way every Bloom job runs, from the first call to the last load.
The quote is the price.
One full price upfront, covering delivery, pickup and disposal. No hidden fees. The only thing that can be added is a council permit, and we tell you before you book.
We sort the permit.
On your driveway there's nothing to arrange. On the nature strip or road, we lodge the permit with your council. We're accredited with every council we serve.
We match the bin to the job.
Six sizes, from about 8 to about 41 wheelie bins. Tell us what you're clearing and we'll suggest the size that fits.
Bins you can walk into.
Every bin from 3m³ to 10m³ has a walk-in door, so furniture and wheelbarrows go straight in. No lifting over the side.
Your waste goes to the right place.
Every full bin goes to licensed recycling and disposal facilities. Mattresses go in at no extra charge; see what can go in a skip bin for the rest.
03 — Why Bloom
Why we do it this way.
A note from the team on what we set out to build, and where the name comes from. Two short reads.
From the depot
Bloom Skip Bins · Truganina
Hiring a skip bin should be the easy part of a clean-out or a renovation. The job itself is hard enough: emptying a garage, stripping out a bathroom, clearing a house before a move.
So we keep our side simple. You tell us the job, the suburb and how long you need the bin. We tell you the size and one full price, and we take care of the rest: the permit if it needs one, the delivery, the collection, and where the waste ends up.
That's the whole business. Call us Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm, and we'll take it from there.
— The Bloom team
Why "Bloom"
Blooming your waste solutions
Our line is "Blooming your waste solutions", and the name is the point. A skip bin is never really about rubbish. It's about what's there once the rubbish is gone.
A garage you can park in again. A finished kitchen. A backyard ready for summer. A house ready for its next family.
That's the part we like. The bin turns up, the mess goes in, and something better grows in the space it leaves behind.
